How to Play Halley's Comet (US)
Quick start
- Use Shoot to intercept the first enemy formations.
- Collect a reachable speed or weapon upgrade.
- Watch the planet damage display as enemies escape.
- Once a helper ship is attached, use Bomb when the immediate threat requires it.
Controls
Move with the eight-way joystick. Shoot fires slowly when held and faster when pressed repeatedly. Bomb sacrifices an attached helper ship, so it requires collecting one first. Inside the comet it clears ordinary enemies and bullets without destroying the core turrets; continue shooting those targets to finish the area.
Halley's Comet (US) — About this game
Halley’s Comet asks the player to protect a planet as well as survive the flight. Escaping enemies damage the world shown beside the main screen, and enough damage ends the game even if ships remain. Weapon and speed supplies help intercept a wider formation, while collected helper ships supply both extra fire and a bomb resource. Progress leads through the comet’s outer defences and inside toward its core, making an enemy allowed past the ship a continuing cost.
