How to Play Hunchback (Scramble hardware)
Quick start
- Move toward the first rampart.
- Jump clear of its guard or obstacle.
- Wait for a safe rope swing before crossing a wide gap.
- Reach the bell at the right edge.
Controls
Move Left/Right and use Jump to clear obstacles or catch a swinging rope. Time the jump around guards and flying hazards, and keep advancing before the knight reaches the top of the wall.
Hunchback (Scramble hardware) — About this game
Hunchback (Scramble hardware) sets each screen along a castle wall, with the bell at the far right marking the next objective. Quasimodo must jump ramparts and guards, avoid arrows and fireballs, and catch swinging ropes to cross wide gaps. A knight climbing the wall limits the time available for the crossing. Learning when to move and when to wait for a safe jump is essential to reaching Esmeralda at the end of the route.
