How to Play Hyper Duel (Japan set 1)
Quick start
- Compare the fighter’s movement with the armour’s stronger angled shot.
- Collect P items to improve both forms.
- Choose a T or G support item.
- Use the meter-funded satellite attack for the approaching threat.
Controls
One action fires in Fighter form; the other fires in Armour form. Holding the armour action maintains that form. Press both together for Bomber Fire, consuming its meter. The original arcade armour aims with movement.
Hyper Duel (Japan set 1) — About this game
Hyper Duel (Japan set 1) changes its Buster Gear between a fast fighter and a slower, stronger armour form. The fighter spreads shots ahead, while the armour can direct stronger fire above or below its forward line. P items strengthen both forms. T and G items add different support units, and Bomber Fire spends a replenishing meter on satellite attacks instead of using a conventional bomb stock. Learn the change in size and movement speed before transforming near an obstacle, then choose the form whose firing angle fits the next enemy.
