How to Play Jackie Chan in Fists of Fire
Quick start
- Learn Light and Heavy Punch and Kick.
- Try the Light Punch, Light Kick, Heavy Punch, Heavy Kick chain.
- Hold a heavy attack to charge power.
- Move the stick and press attacks rapidly when recovering.
Controls
Use Light Punch, Heavy Punch, Light Kick and Heavy Kick. Hold Heavy Punch or Heavy Kick to charge the power gauge. Double-tap Forward to dash or Back to retreat. Lau’s Flame Orb is Down, Down-Forward, Forward + Punch; reverse horizontal directions when facing left.

Jackie Chan in Fists of Fire expands the earlier fighting game with three playable Jackie forms and a revised combo system. The display records the match’s highest combo, while rapid joystick and button inputs help a trapped fighter recover or escape. Desperation attacks add a power-gauge objective, and the adjusted roster has nine playable fighters with rebalanced statistics and altered moves.
