Jumping Cross (set 1) takes its motocross riders around enclosed off-road courses against the clock. Opponents share the route, while built-up hills create opportunities to jump over parts of the obstacle layout. The race therefore demands both keeping ahead of other motorcycles and choosing a safe approach to the next ramp before the remaining time runs out.
