How to Play Juno First (Gottlieb)
Quick start
- Move the ship and fire ahead at an approaching alien.
- Check the radar before reversing direction.
- Shoot an asteroid and collect its mystery passenger when safe.
- Use Warp to escape an immediate threat and finish the wave.
Controls
Move with the eight-way joystick. Fire shoots lasers forward. Warp makes the ship disappear momentarily to avoid enemy fire; three warps are available per wave and unused ones do not accumulate. Shooting an asteroid and collecting its mystery passenger briefly suppresses enemy firing.
Juno First (Gottlieb) — About this game
Juno First (Gottlieb) lets the ship move forward and backward through an enemy wave instead of staying beneath a fixed formation. The radar helps locate threats beyond the immediate firing line, and enemies become more dangerous if left alive. Shooting an asteroid releases a mystery passenger: collecting it briefly stops enemy firing and rewards a sequence of kills. Limited warps provide an escape, while clearing the wave quickly improves the remaining-time bonus.
