In the six-button layout, use Light, Medium and Heavy Punch and Kick. Light + Medium of the same type gives Super strength; Medium + Heavy gives Extreme. Use the joystick to move, jump, crouch and guard.

In the six-button layout, combined light and medium attacks produce Super strength, while medium and heavy produce Extreme strength. Damage received fills a meter that strengthens the next successful special and can destroy the stage boundary. Opening an elemental zone may further improve a compatible fighter’s special attacks.
