Quick start
- Choose three fighters and designate a leader.
- Learn the ranges of normal and special moves.
- Try a normal switch when the change indicator lights up.
- Choose between meter-consuming switch attacks and the leader’s moves.
Controls
A/B/C/D are light punch, light kick, heavy punch and heavy kick. While the change indicator is lit, press B+C or C+D for a normal switch. Input down, down-forward, forward with B+C or C+D for a switch attack that uses meter. Only the chosen leader uses the Leader Super Special Move.
The King of Fighters 2003 (PlayStation 2, Hack) — About this game
Ash takes a central role in a fighting game where three-member teams can switch fighters during a match. Rather than waiting for one fighter to fall, switch when available to respond to matchups and remaining health. Choose a team leader to determine who can use the Leader Super Special Move. Switching is only available when its indicator allows it, and an attacking switch also requires meter. Learn each fighter’s normal attacks, then decide when a teammate should step in and when to keep fighting with the current character.
