How to Play The King of Fighters 2003 (NGM-2710, Export)
Quick start
- Choose a three-character team and designate its leader.
- Learn a reliable attack with the starting character.
- Practise a normal teammate change before trying a change attack.
- Check the gauge and leader identity before a Leader Desperation Move.
Controls
A is weak punch, B weak kick, C strong punch and D strong kick. B+C changes to the second character and C+D to the third when a change is available. Quarter-circle forward plus the corresponding pair requests a Change Attack costing one power level. Leader Desperation Moves require the leader and two levels.
The King of Fighters 2003 (NGM-2710, Export) — About this game
The King of Fighters 2003 (NGM-2710, Export) keeps three-character teams but allows changes during a match rather than waiting for a fighter to be defeated. That opens a choice between staying with a familiar matchup and bringing a teammate into the action. A designated leader also gains access to a stronger leader-specific technique, with its own power cost. Learn the team's ordinary attacks before using a change attack, and keep track of which members remain available so a planned switch does not depend on a defeated teammate.
