How to Play King & Balloon (US)
Quick start
- Shoot at the descending balloon formation.
- Watch for a balloon reaching the king’s ground.
- If it picks him up, shoot it before it leaves the screen.
- Keep protecting the king after a destroyed cannon is replaced.
Controls
Move the cannon horizontally and fire upward. Shoot a balloon carrying the king to release him. Cannon destruction does not spend a life; the king being carried off the top does.
King & Balloon (US) — About this game
King & Balloon (US) makes the wandering king the life that must be protected. A descending balloon can wait on the ground until he walks into it, then lift him toward the top of the field. Shooting that balloon releases him to parachute safely back. Losing the cannon only delays its replacement, whereas allowing the king to leave the screen actually spends a life.
