How to Play The King of Fighters 2002 (Remix Ultra 3.5, Hack)
Quick start
- Choose three fighters and set their fighting order.
- Try a short combo from a normal attack into a special move.
- Activate MAX with B+C and check which attacks can link while it is active.
- Save some meter for defense before spending it all.
Controls
A/B/C/D are light punch, light kick, heavy punch and heavy kick. A+B rolls forward; back+A+B rolls backward. C+D performs a blowback attack, and B+C activates MAX. Quick evasion and quick MAX activation from normal attacks or similar actions require meter.
The King of Fighters 2002 (Remix Ultra 3.5, Hack) — About this game
Three-on-three elimination battles return in place of Striker support. Use normal attacks, throws and forward or backward evasive rolls to control distance, then spend meter on super moves or defensive responses. While MAX is active, certain attacks can lead into other moves, letting you build combinations beyond a single heavy hit. Quick evasion and quick MAX activation from normal attacks also use meter, so decide how much to commit to offense and how much to save for escape. This is the original game, distinct from the later Unlimited Match. Start by learning short combos and defense for your three chosen fighters.
