The King of Fighters '97 (Battle with Orochi, v1.2, Hack) — About this game
Three-fighter elimination teams come with a choice of two control styles. ADVANCED centers on moving evasions and stored meter stocks; EXTRA uses stationary dodges and manual power charging. The same button combinations have different effects, so learn your chosen mode’s evasion and meter before concentrating on character moves. Use your normal attacks at their effective range, defend against jumping and grounded approaches, and look for a super move when an opening appears. The story brings the Orochi conflict to its conclusion, with team choices and fighting order to vary between attempts.
