Quick start
- Choose three fighters and set their order.
- Try light and heavy punches and kicks to learn their reach.
- Guard and move to create a counterattack.
- Build energy and practice the available special and super moves.
Controls
Use the eight-way joystick to move, jump and crouch. Hold away from the opponent to guard. The four basic attack functions are light punch, light kick, heavy punch and heavy kick; check their assignments in the control settings.

Build a three-fighter team and decide who enters each one-on-one bout first. Movement, jumps, guarding and light or heavy strikes help you control the distance. Learn the reach of ordinary attacks before working on reliable combinations. Look for an opening after defending, and check your energy before attempting a super move.
