Quick start
- Choose four characters and assign the fighters and Striker.
- Learn attack ranges with normal moves and guarding by holding back.
- Check both the retreat and the forward return of backward evasion.
- Watch your support stock and call the Striker during a safe opening.
Controls
Use directions to move, jump, crouch and guard. A is light punch, B light kick, C heavy punch and D heavy kick. B+C calls the Striker and spends a support use; C+D performs a blowback attack. Evasion with A+B and a direction does not avoid throws.

K' and Maxima take center stage as the NESTS story begins in this team fighter. Choose four characters, then assign fighters and a supporting Striker rather than simply setting a three-person order. Strikers spend limited support uses to enter the fight, creating openings or changing an attack’s flow. The backward evasion also changes: you retreat, then spring forward again, which can bring you close to the opponent just when you think you have escaped. Learn the reach of normal attacks and where this evasion finishes before choosing support that fits your fighting style.
