How to Play Krull
Quick start
- On the mountain, collect all five blades while avoiding boulders.
- In the swamp, touch companions to rescue them and attack the Slayers.
- Deliver companions safely through the fortress and break the hexagon’s black walls.
- Avoid or destroy fireballs while moving toward Lyssa.
Controls
Left eight-direction joystick: move Colwyn. Right eight-direction joystick: throw the glaive independently in that direction; it returns like a boomerang. The mountain blade-collection scene does not use the weapon stick.
Krull — About this game
Krull moves Colwyn through five different arcade challenges on the way to rescuing Lyssa. The mountain first requires collecting the separate glaive blades while avoiding boulders. Later scenes introduce combat, rescuing companions and leading them through the fortress. Those companions carry forward into the following challenges, giving earlier rescues a lasting effect. In the final confrontation, the glaive can stun the Beast and destroy its fireballs, but reaching the princess is the objective rather than killing the creature.
