Kyukyoku Tiger (Japan, 2 player alternate) puts a combat helicopter against aircraft, tanks and stationary guns along a vertically scrolling route. Coloured pickups change the weapon's coverage, offering patterns such as spread fire, multi-directional fire and forward lasers. Large helicopters provide opportunities to gain those upgrades, but reaching a dropped item still means crossing the active battlefield. Choose a weapon that fits the threats ahead and keep watching ground guns as well as the next aircraft formation. Surviving a section leads to a carrier landing and a tally of earned bonuses.
