Controls
Button 1 shifts down, Button 2 shifts up and Button 3 pedals. Match gear and pedalling rhythm to the slope. These functions correspond to the original machine’s handlebar buttons and bicycle pedals.

Pedalling and gear changes drive the race. The original machine uses a stationary bicycle: pedals move the onscreen rider and handlebar buttons shift up or down. The course has elevation changes, so choose a suitable gear and rhythm for climbs rather than simply pedalling faster. Watch rider position, course profile and time. Choose a rider as prompted and learn pedalling and both shifts to improve your finish time.
