How to Play Legend of Heroes
Quick start
- Choose one of the four warriors.
- Fight through the soldiers blocking the route.
- Collect and use available weapons.
- Restore health with food before the next large encounter.
Controls
Use the directional controls to move or select menu items. Insert a coin, then press Start to begin. Action buttons depend on the game; follow the keyboard, controller, or touch mapping shown by the emulator.
Legend of Heroes — About this game
Legend of Heroes offers four warriors for a side-scrolling battle through an invading army. Each fighter has a different set of moves, while found arrows, daggers and bombs provide temporary alternatives to the ordinary combat. Food restores health along the route, giving the contents of the surrounding containers a use beyond scoring. Groups of soldiers lead into larger encounters and bosses. Choosing when to use a found weapon helps preserve the health needed for the next crowded fight.
