How to Play Legend of Hero Tonma (Japan)
Quick start
- Fire at an enemy ahead.
- Collect an accessible shot upgrade.
- Use Jump to cross a gap or bounce away from a creature.
- Approach the boss with as much accumulated firepower as possible.
Controls
Move with the joystick. Shoot fires Tommy’s magical attack and Jump leaps; holding Jump longer changes the height and slows the fall. Landing on an enemy can stun it and bounce Tommy, rather than killing it outright.
Legend of Hero Tonma (Japan) — About this game
Legend of Hero Tonma (Japan) gives Tommy a magical shot to strengthen while he crosses crowded platforms. Firepower pickups build the small starting attack into a wider defence against the enemies arriving from different heights. Jumping onto a creature can stun it and provide a bounce, but does not replace shooting it. A longer-held jump also changes the leap and fall, making movement useful for passing a threat as well as reaching the next ledge. Barriers offer temporary protection during a difficult approach.
