Controls
A is Shot and B is Bomb. Collect F or G power-ups to change between Fighter and Gerwalk forms. Bombs damage the screen and protect the craft during their effect.

Macross II is a timed score challenge: reaching the designated Clear Score before the clock expires is what advances the stage. Surviving without scoring enough still ends the run. The horizontal shooter follows the Marduk conflict from Macross II: Lovers Again, with weapon pickups changing the Valkyrie’s firing form. Efficiently clearing a wave creates more scoring opportunities, while hidden items reward careful shooting. The three courses offer different opening stages before a common finale, so begin with the easier course and learn where points can be collected consistently.
