How to Play The Main Event (4 Players ver. F)

Quick start

Choose two wrestlers for the team.
Watch for an Action opportunity.
Grapple a stunned opponent or attempt a pin.
Tag the partner when position permits.

Controls

Use the joystick with Action and Tag. Action changes with position and the opponent’s condition; its cabinet button flashes for an available move. Press Action rapidly during a pin or submission contest.

The Main Event (4 Players ver. F) — About this game

The Main Event (4 Players ver. F) puts two selected wrestlers into a tag team whose moves depend on position and the rival’s condition. The large Action button signals opportunities for strikes, grapples, submissions and pins, while Tag changes the active partner. Victories restore energy; a lost match can lead to a rematch while energy remains. Learn a simple grapple before seeking a turnbuckle attack, then watch the partner and pin opportunity instead of assuming every Action press produces the same move from every position.
