How to Play Mappy (Japan)
Quick start
- Collect a valuable and locate its matching partner.
- Face a door and press the door button.
- Use a flashing door against pursuing cats.
- Land on a floor to reset a weakening trampoline.
Controls
Left and Right move Mappy. Face a door and press the button to open or close it. Running off a platform drops onto the trampoline; steer onto a floor during the upward bounce.
Mappy (Japan) — About this game
Mappy (Japan) recovers stolen valuables from a house where doors and trampolines define the escape routes from pursuing cats. A flashing door launches a microwave wave that sweeps away nearby pursuers, while collecting matching items consecutively increases their bonus. A trampoline breaks after four uninterrupted bounces, but landing on a floor resets it. Learn a door’s opening direction before drawing a cat close, then leave the trampoline for a platform instead of repeatedly bouncing until the escape collapses.
