How to Play Mazinger Z (Japan)
Quick start
- Choose a robot and try its ordinary shot.
- Hold Shot, then release the charged attack.
- Use Punch against an approaching shot or formation.
- Save the limited special weapon for a crowded screen.
Controls
Use Shot for ordinary fire; hold and release it for the charged attack. Punch can deflect enemy shots or formations at close range. S Weapon uses the limited special attack.
Mazinger Z (Japan) — About this game
Mazinger Z (Japan) lets the player choose Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger or Grendizer before the robot’s shooting campaign. Holding Shot and releasing it produces a charged attack, while Punch provides close protection by deflecting enemy shots or formations. The limited special weapon clears a dangerous attack when ordinary fire cannot open enough room. Learn the charged shot in a clear approach before moving close enough to punch, then preserve a special weapon for a formation whose spacing makes the shorter defensive attack unsafe.
