How to Play Mahjong Gakuen
Quick start
- Choose the opening opponent or match.
- Build a legal hand while protecting the point reserve.
- Discard tiles that do not support the intended hand.
- Spend POWER on a special technique only when it improves the current draw.
Controls
Use the directional controls to move or select menu items. Insert a coin, then press Start to begin. Action buttons depend on the game; follow the keyboard, controller, or touch mapping shown by the emulator.
Mahjong Gakuen — About this game
Mahjong Gakuen makes its graduation examination a sequence of matches against nine instructors. Winning three hands against an opponent, or reducing that opponent’s points below zero, advances the examination. The player’s own point reserve must survive the match. A POWER reserve can accumulate during draws and pay for special hand-influencing techniques, adding another resource to the decisions made over the tiles.
