How to Play Magical Crystals (World, 91/12/10)
Quick start
- Shoot at the opening enemies.
- Jump across the platform route.
- Use the basic shot against the first slime boss.
- Avoid the smaller slimes as it divides.
Controls
Move, shoot and jump through the platform route. This December 1991 revision has no hold-to-charge fireball. Boss-stage fairies do not deliver the bomb or three-way-shot crystals found in the January 1992 revisions.
Magical Crystals (World, 91/12/10) — About this game
The December 1991 version of Magical Crystals uses the wizard’s basic shot and platform movement while omitting the charged fireball found in the later January revisions. Its fairies also do not deliver the boss-stage crystals that unlock bomb and three-way attacks. The first boss starts directly as a dividing slime instead of first requiring destruction of the later version’s metallic shell.
