How to Play Midnight Resistance (US)
Quick start
- Practise moving while keeping the rotary aim on an enemy.
- Collect keys from defeated soldiers.
- Spend keys at the stage-end lockers on a suitable weapon or supply.
- Recover dropped equipment quickly after losing a life.
Controls
Use movement, Shoot and Jump together with the rotary control that turns aim through eight directions. Up + Shoot launches the equipped backpack weapon. Special guns and backpack weapons consume ammunition.
Midnight Resistance (US) — About this game
Midnight Resistance (US) combines running and jumping with a rotary aim control, letting a soldier fire in one direction while moving in another. Defeated enemies supply keys for the lockers in the weapon room at the end of a stage. The chosen gun or backpack weapon has limited ammunition, so buying it also means deciding when to spend its stronger attack. Losing a life drops the carried weapons and keys, which can only be recovered before they leave the screen. Later, collected keys also matter to rescuing the soldier’s family before the final confrontation.
