How to Play Mr. Dig
Quick start
- Choose a depth challenge.
- Dig a route toward an air capsule before the reserve runs low.
- Watch for blocks falling into the new opening.
- Keep clear of the three-column blast above a touched bomb.
Controls
Use the directional controls to dig through the blocks toward the target depth, air capsules and EXTRA letters. Use the action inputs to confirm menu choices or the current available action; unsupported physical roles for the four generic buttons are not asserted.
Mr. Dig — About this game
Mr. Dig sends Susemi down through blocks toward a chosen depth while air drains from the reserve. Air capsules provide recovery, but the route also needs room to avoid falling blocks. Bombs differ from a safe clearing pickup: touching one clears three columns above it and can catch the digger in the blast. Letters that complete EXTRA award another life. Reaching a capsule or letter therefore needs to be weighed against the blocks and explosive object that the next dig will expose.
