- Move with the directional control and look for tiles that suit a winning hand.

- Use power-dice speed boosts to collect tiles and finish the hand.

Directional control: move. Push: send or push tiles. Hold Push and contact a tile for a single-step push. Direct useful tiles into the hand box to build a mahjong hand while avoiding enemies.

Mr. Jong (Japan) combines a fixed-screen action maze with building a mahjong hand. Move among the scattered tiles, avoid the roaming enemies and send chosen tiles into the hand box to assemble a winning combination. The nearest useful tile may be more practical than a distant ideal one, so routes and hand planning work together. Power dice temporarily increase movement speed, while breaking tiles makes replacement tiles appear. Completing a hand clears the stage and rewards the combination you have assembled.
