Mister Viking (315-5041) sends its warrior toward a lost treasure through a vertically scrolling battlefield. Enemies approach on foot and through the air from several directions, making directional shooting useful while advancing. A Viking ship occasionally brings additional weapons, and destroying some buildings reveals more equipment. Bombs and swords provide alternatives to the ordinary attack. Keeping room around the warrior helps with both lining up a shot and reaching a dropped weapon before the next group arrives.
