How to Play Mobile Suit Gundam
Quick start
- Choose a mobile suit.
- Try weak and strong attacks and guard by holding away from the opponent.
- Use the suit’s projectile to control distance.
- Practise its close-range special and any available dash.
Controls
Joystick Up: jump; Down: crouch; away from opponent: guard. A: weak attack; B: strong attack. Facing right, RX-78 Gundam uses ↓↘→+A or B for Beam Rifle and →↓↘+A or B for Beam Saber. Double-tap forward for its dash. Reverse horizontal directions when facing left.
Mobile Suit Gundam — About this game
Mobile Suit Gundam builds its one-on-one mobile-suit fights around weak and strong attacks. The joystick provides jumping, crouching and backward guarding, while special motions activate weapons suited to each machine. The RX-78 Gundam combines a beam rifle with a close-range beam saber; other suits use weapons such as missiles, a heat rod or a giant bazooka. Some machines can dash, but that mobility is not universal. Learning the selected suit’s reach and available movement is therefore part of using its two attack strengths effectively.
