Quick start
- Move through the first encounter while testing shooting and jumping.
- Collect reachable weapon upgrades without standing in an attack path.
- Use a Slug vehicle when available to strengthen offense and protection.
- Observe the mission boss before spending limited ammunition and grenades.
Controls
On foot, A fires at distant targets or uses the knife at close range; B jumps; C throws a grenade. Joystick directions move, crouch and aim upward. Vehicle actions vary with the vehicle; no commands from the separately labelled Blue hack are included.

Metal Slug 3 (Fully Decrypted) sends the squad through crowded combat scenes where weapon pickups and vehicles can change the way you handle the next group. Ordinary shooting deals with the stream of attackers, but ammunition from an upgraded weapon should be spent with the coming threats in mind. The Slug tank adds protection and heavier offensive options, making it useful against stronger positions. Each mission eventually brings a boss that is much larger and tougher than the common enemies. Watch its attack pattern and preserve a way to dodge before committing your firepower. Advancing safely matters more than holding one position simply because a powerful weapon is available.
