How to Play Metal Slug Unity (Added Timer Ver. 2021-02-05)
Quick start
- Start the game and use A to shoot, B to jump and C to throw a grenade.
- Rescue prisoners and collect upgraded weapons while watching their ammunition.
- Enter an available Metal Slug and use its machine gun and cannon against heavy targets.
- Press Down plus B to leave the vehicle; reserve A plus B self-destruct for an emergency.
Controls
Move left or right and crouch with Down. A shoots, or uses the knife when an enemy is within close range. B jumps and also boards an available Slug; C throws a grenade. Inside the Slug, A fires the machine gun, B jumps and C fires the cannon. Press Down plus B to exit, or A plus B to perform the vehicle's self-destruct attack.

Metal Slug Unity (Added Timer Ver. 2021-02-05) is a registered modification in the original Metal Slug arcade family. Move through occupied territory, rescue prisoners and collect upgraded weapons with limited ammunition. Grenades are useful against armored targets and groups, while the Metal Slug vehicle adds a machine gun, cannon and jumping movement for heavily defended sections. The version title does not document every possible change to values, item placement, enemies or hidden rules, so learn those differences from the current game. Preserve ammunition when the basic weapon is sufficient and leave the vehicle only when the route or danger requires it.
