Quick start
- Rescue an ally whose attack suits the next floor.
- Stop attacking briefly to fill the magic meter.
- Use the charged strike against an approaching threat.
- Account for the magical ally’s need for the same charge.
Controls
Attack strikes and Jump jumps. Up opens a door; Up+Jump gives a higher jump and Down+Jump a shorter one. Attack+Jump performs a screen-clearing attack at a health cost.
Magic Sword: Heroic Fantasy (World 900725) — About this game
Magic Sword makes its climb a partnership between the hero and one rescued ally. The companion follows the hero’s attacks and jumps, but magical allies need a charged magic meter to fire their spells. The meter refills while the hero stops attacking, so a deliberate pause changes the next strike from plain melee to a ranged magical attack. Physical allies can continue attacking without that charge. Choose a companion whose attacks suit the next floor, then let the meter fill before a heavy target rather than repeatedly resetting it with weak swings.
