How to Play Martial Champion (ver JAA)
Quick start
- Choose a fighter and try all three attack heights.
- Learn the height and landing of its jump.
- Watch for a disarmed weapon.
- Approach it only when the opponent cannot punish the pickup.
Controls
Move and jump with the directional control. The three ordinary attack buttons strike at high, middle and low levels. Some characters carry weapons that can be disarmed and taken by their opponent.

Martial Champion (ver JAA) divides its three attack buttons by height rather than by punch and kick strength. High, middle and low attacks support each fighter’s special techniques, while the tall stages leave room for unusually high jumps. Some fighters carry weapons that can be knocked away and taken by the opponent, so losing a weapon changes more than its owner’s appearance. Learn the three attack heights before contesting a dropped weapon, then watch for an aerial approach that rises above the usual ground exchange. The tournament ends with Salamander after the ordinary roster.
