Ninja Emaki (US) — About this game
Ninja Emaki (US) begins with a cloud-riding shooting section before sending its ninja through an overhead journey on foot. A crossbow supplies the ordinary attack, while a collected scroll grants temporary access to eight magical attacks. The magic can be changed freely during that twenty-second period, allowing its shape to match the current enemies. The Japanese and overseas versions use different damage and scroll rules, so the same hit does not have the same consequence in each release. In the Japanese release, an unprotected hit costs a life; active scroll magic can absorb a hit, ending that power.
