How to Play Oni - The Ninja Master (Japan)

Quick start

Select a hero and learn the attack distance.
Compare Weak, Medium and Strong attacks against an opening.
Use the weapon action when distance makes it useful.
Reposition before the monster’s next attack.

Controls

The four actions are Weak Attack, Medium Attack, Strong Attack and Shoot/Throw Weapon. Movement positions the hero for the monster duel.

Oni - The Ninja Master (Japan) — About this game

Oni - The Ninja Master (Japan) puts a small hero against an enormous monster rather than another similarly sized fighter. Three selectable characters provide different approaches to the duels, and a second player can join the cooperative fight. Weak, Medium and Strong attacks offer several strengths of close combat, while a fourth action shoots or throws a weapon. Learn a reliable strike at the edge of the monster’s reach before committing to the heavier option. When playing together, use the extra fighter to create another attacking angle instead of crowding into the same dangerous spot.
