Quick start

Controls
Move the ship in eight directions and use Fire to shoot where it faces. The orientation-fix action locks that facing while movement continues.
Nova 2001 (US) — About this game
Nova 2001 (US) fights enemy swarms from every direction on a playfield that can scroll slightly around the ship. Movement normally changes the craft’s facing, but the orientation-fix action lets it keep a chosen firing line while moving away from danger. Destroying all enemies clears the stage, and dropped fragments add score when collected. The timer also matters: leaving patrol robots alive too long brings a stronger enemy into the encounter. Learn a controlled sideways retreat with the gun still facing the swarm before chasing every fragment through hostile fire.
