How to Play N-Sub (upright)
Quick start
- Manoeuvre away from incoming depth charges and torpedoes.
- Line up beneath a surface ship and fire vertically.
- Face an enemy submarine with the horizontal attack.
- Hold the appropriate firing action for a short burst.
Controls
Joystick: manoeuvre the submarine. One Fire action launches vertical torpedoes; the other fires horizontally. Hold a Fire action to send a burst of three torpedoes.
N-Sub (upright) — About this game
N-Sub (upright) places its submarine beneath an attacking fleet, with separate torpedoes for the threats above and beside it. Vertical shots reach the surface ships, while horizontal shots engage opposing submarines. Holding a firing action produces a short burst rather than only a single torpedo. Missiles, depth charges and enemy torpedoes make the same water dangerous at different heights. Moving into a useful firing position must therefore be balanced against leaving enough room to avoid the next attack.
