How to Play Oli-Boo-Chu (USA)
Quick start
- Move toward a nearby mouse.
- Intercept it at a junction instead of following its whole route.
- Turn away if a Boo spots Oli.
- Catch the remaining mice to finish the maze.
Controls
Use the four-direction joystick to move Oli. Catch mice by reaching them; there is no separate attack button. Keep clear of the larger Boos, and take care around the yellow mouse that can stun Oli.
Oli-Boo-Chu (USA) — About this game
Oli-Boo-Chu (USA) reverses the usual maze chase by making the small moving mice the objects to collect. Oli must catch every Chu while the larger Boos hunt him through the corridors. The mice move at different speeds, so clearing the maze calls for intercepting them rather than following a fixed line of dots. A Boo may pause to look around a corner before charging when it sees Oli, and a yellow mouse can briefly stun the hunter who approaches carelessly.
