How to Play Omega Race (set 2)
Quick start
- Turn the ship with the spinner.
- Apply a short burst of Thrust.
- Shoot an approaching droid or mine.
- Turn and counter-thrust to control the drift.
Controls
The spinner rotates the ship. Thrust accelerates it in the direction of its nose, and Fire shoots lasers. To slow existing movement, face against the drift and thrust; the arena boundaries bounce the ship.
Omega Race (set 2) — About this game
Omega Race (set 2) confines its fighter and enemy droids to a rectangular track. The ship rotates independently of its thrust, carrying momentum until counter-thrust changes the course. Contact with the boundary produces a bounce rather than a wrap to the opposite side, so the barrier can rapidly alter an approach. Droid mines and attacking ships share the arena, adding targets along the drifting fighter’s next path.
