How to Play Operation Wolf (Japan, rev 2)
Quick start
- Move your aim and check the machine-gun and rocket controls.
- Target enemy soldiers and stop firing near noncombatants.
- Shoot ammunition and recovery supplies when they appear.
- Cover escaping hostages, distinguishing them from the enemies in pursuit.
Controls
Move the aim to line up a target. Use the firing control for the machine gun and the separate control for rockets. The original cabinet uses a gun trigger and side button. Watch both ammunition stocks, shoot supplies to collect them and avoid hitting hostages or civilians.
Operation Wolf (Japan, rev 2) — About this game
Enter enemy territory, rescue the captives and cover their escape in this gun shooter. Aim at soldiers, vehicles and helicopters, but conserve your limited ammunition and shoot the supplies that appear to collect them. Hitting hostages or civilians works against you, so identify each target before firing. Rockets help against tougher enemies; check your remaining stock and nearby people before using one. Protect the people rescued from the camp on their way to the airport and help them escape by plane. The Japanese release lets you choose locations, while overseas releases follow a fixed order.
