How to Play Operation Thunderbolt (World, rev 1)
Quick start
- Check the regular-fire and rocket controls.
- Target enemies beginning an attack and distinguish any hostages.
- Shoot ammunition and health supplies before they pass.
- With two players, divide the screen to cover enemies and supplies.
Controls
Move the aim, use regular fire for the machine gun and the separate attack for rockets. The original gun controller uses a trigger and side button. Shoot supplies to collect them; moving the aim over them is not enough. Watch ammunition and avoid hitting hostages.
Operation Thunderbolt (World, rev 1) — About this game
Roy and Hardy enter the battlefield to rescue passengers from a hijacked airliner. Side-scrolling fights alternate with advances deeper into enemy territory. Recognize incoming enemies and shoot quickly, but watch limited machine-gun ammunition and rockets. Shoot ammunition and health supplies to collect them. The laser sight displays your aim only for the scene where it was acquired. Two players can fight together and divide targets. Let hostages escape without hitting them, and preserve supplies for the original game’s fixed sequence of encounters.
