Pang! 3 (Europe 950511, alt) makes its four treasure hunters’ weapons change the way an opening can be cleared. Don Tacos has a double harpoon, Captain Hog leaves a wire attached above, and Shiela adds diagonal approaches; Pink Leopard resists the stage’s enemies and hazards. Practice introduces the bubble-clearing task, while Normal and Panic provide different longer challenges. The art-gallery scenery is divided by platforms and ladders that change the next shooting position. Learn the chosen hunter’s firing coverage before moving beneath a bouncing group, then use that coverage to clear an opening rather than following another hunter’s route by habit.
