Quick start
- Aim the launcher toward a group matching the next bubble.
- Shoot to connect at least three of the same colour.
- On pulley stages, watch the opposite cluster when one side changes weight.
- In versus play, drop attached bubbles to set up another matching clear.

Left/Right: aim the bubble launcher. Fire: shoot the next bubble. Groups of at least three matching colours pop; bubbles attached only through them drop away.
Puzzle Bobble 4 (Ver 2.04A 1997/12/19) — About this game
Puzzle Bobble 4 (Ver 2.04A 1997/12/19) adds moving balance to its bubble-clearing stages. Two clusters can hang from opposite sides of a pulley, so adding or removing bubbles changes their relative weight and height. Clearing one side can therefore lower the other toward danger. Versus play offers a different opportunity: a dropped bubble can seek a matching group and start another clear, extending an attack through a chain reaction. Careful aiming still matters, but the next shot also has to account for what the rest of the field will do afterward.
