How to Play Performan (US)
Quick start
- Move through the arena and throw the boomerang at enemies.
- Use Dig to move beneath obstacles or escape a surface threat.
- Push or detonate meca-stones when enemies gather nearby.
- Stay clear of the blast and finish the remaining enemies.
Controls
Four-direction joystick: move. Attack: throw the boomerang ahead. Dig: enter the underground route. Boomerangs can trigger meca-stones; their explosion can also paralyse the player.
Performan (US) — About this game
Performan (US) fights on two levels of a compact arena: the surface and the tunnels beneath it. The robot’s boomerang attacks in the direction it faces, while digging allows a change of route around obstacles and pursuing enemies. Meca-stones can be pushed or detonated to catch several enemies together, but standing in the blast can paralyse the player. Defeated groups offer scoring opportunities, and collected gifts can lead to further rewards. Clearing the enemies finishes the screen and prepares another arrangement of threats.
