How to Play ジャングルキング / Pirate Pete
Quick start
- Press the action button as the next vine comes within reach.
- Underwater, watch crocodile mouths and places to surface for air.
- On rocky ground, read rock sizes and the gaps between bounces.
- Adjust your timing to the hazards in each scene.
Controls
Use an eight-way joystick and one action button. During vine crossing, press the button when the next vine is within reach. Underwater, move around and attack a crocodile from below with the knife while its mouth is closed. You cannot attack while surfacing for air. Check the control settings for your actual mappings.

Progress through four scenes: vine crossing, swimming, rocky terrain and the final rescue. Jump when the next vine comes within reach. Underwater, watch crocodile mouths and your route to the surface for air. On rocky ground, judge each rock’s size and bouncing rhythm. The hazards and purpose of movement change between scenes, so adjust your timing as you approach the captive.
