Controls
The control stick moves Harry on land and while swimming. The jump action crosses hazards and reaches vines or hanging rings. The two cabinet jump buttons duplicate the same action.

Sega’s arcade Pitfall II takes Harry through a jungle, ice caves, rail-cart passages and a final temple. Treasures extend the limited time, while reaching a key opens the way into another section of the cavern. Mine carts and hot-air balloons change how the route is crossed, with hanging rings allowing an escape from a moving cart. A collision now costs a life, so the treasure hunt rewards careful timing as well as remembering the next turn. Learn the jump over an early jungle hazard before taking a longer ride deeper into the caves.
