How to Play Plus Alpha
Quick start
- Steer through the scrolling enemies and fire ordinary shots.
- Collect items to improve or transform the craft.
- Use the Hyper attack when its pattern helps clear danger.
- Defeat the stage boss and use any earned present-game attempts.
Controls
Eight-way directional control: move. A: fire the ordinary shot. B: use a Hyper bomb. The shot and Hyper patterns depend on the current aircraft form.
Plus Alpha — About this game
Plus Alpha follows two flying heroines through seven occupied countries. Collecting transformation items changes the craft among a propeller plane, a jet and a helicopter, with each form sending its ordinary shot and Hyper attack in a different pattern. Enemies can leave further power-ups along the route, and a boss guards the end of each stage. Unused Hyper attacks also provide attempts at the present game between stages, creating a reason to consider how many to spend during the battle.
