How to Play Puchi Carat (Ver 2.02O 1997/10/29)
Quick start
- Move the paddle beneath the returning ball.
- Aim toward a gem supporting a larger cluster.
- Hit a flashing gem to clear its colour.
- Keep the advancing gems away from the bottom danger line.
Controls
Move the paddle Left/Right to return the ball. A hit removes a gem; disconnected gems fall. A flashing gem clears ordinary gems of the same colour. Missing the ball adds rows, and losing space to the bottom danger line ends the game.

Puchi Carat (Ver 2.02O 1997/10/29) sends a paddle’s ball into connected gems that descend from above. Removing a supporting gem drops everything no longer attached to the ceiling, while a flashing gem clears the ordinary gems of its colour. Missing the ball brings additional rows instead of immediately costing a life. In competitive play, dropped gems become an attack on the opponent, making large separations a means of both recovery and pressure.
