How to Play Punch-Out!! (Rev B)
Quick start
- Set the guard height before punching.
- Watch the opponent’s eyes and movement.
- Dodge or block the announced attack.
- Use Knockout Blow when the KO meter flashes full.
Controls
Left/Right dodges; Up guards high and Down guards low. The Left Punch and Right Punch buttons hit at the selected height. With a full flashing KO meter, Knockout Blow gives a right hook while guarding high or an uppercut while guarding low.
Punch-Out!! (Rev B) — About this game
Punch-Out!! (Rev B) makes the opponent’s stance and eye flashes clues to the next attack. The wireframe boxer switches between head and body blows with the guard position, while successful punches fill the KO meter for a stronger uppercut or right hook. A bout must end within one three-minute round, and the six opponents return at increased difficulty after the championship sequence rather than leading to a final ending.
